This innovative primary transmission project was mainly developed for  racing applications. The kit total weight of 5 kilos, including engine pulley and clutch shell, delivers a remarkable revving and acceleration even so hard to  believe for this engine, especially considering the weight of the  original set which is 10 kilos for XB12 models and 9.5 kilos for XB9 models. Besides this main achievement, the open belt primary allows a better  clutch overheating squandering. Furthermore the sealed gear box, required by the new transmission,  grants the usage of a better quality oil and avoids its deterioration due to the mixing with clutch plates dust. Keeping oil clean will result in a higher performance transmission and clutch.
