While the V-Rod is the most powerful Harley ever produced, theres always room for more! Our Zip Kit is designed to let the V-Rod breathe more freely, with nice power gains made from outside of the engine. This kit un-restricts the intake with a high flow K&N air filter element and free breathing, machined aluminum oversize velocity stacks. The factory throttle body is precisely machined to 58mm (5mm increase over stock) for impressive airflow gains to the engine.

When used in conjunction with a performance exhaust system and an EFI trim device, the Zip Kit is capable of producing 115+ rear wheel horsepower!

Dyno tuning on a load-control dyno required for best results. These kits are available from any Zippers Performance Products dealer, or you can send your carefully packed throttle body directly to Zippers. Carefully remove the throttle body (leave IAC and TPS installed; remove air box stud and intake rubber boots). Your original part is modified and returned to you, ready for installation. Slight modification to the airbox plastic base required, requires airbox cover (snorkel) removal for clearance.

Legal in California only for racing vehicles which may never be used upon a highway.

The Hot Rod kit includes new 4.250 inch wet cylinder liners sized with the latest technology Wiseco 12:1 reverse-dome forged pistons. Requires very precise machining of the case and water jackets for the big bore liners (machining by Zippers included in the kit cost). Once this work is done, it assembles like a stocker. The heads receive our beautiful CNC port work with oversize stainless steel valves for maximum flow and are assembled with a high performance spring kit with titanium collars.

Perched atop these powerful heads are a set of high lift cams; to ensure the heads perform to their potential, the throttle body is enlarged from 53 to 58mm and fitted with billet high velocity intake stacks that breathe freely through an oversize K&N air filter assembly.

The Hot Rod kit can deliver over 130 horsepower to the ground through a smoking rear tire. Whether its Power Cruising on Saturday night or burning up the strip on Sunday, your Hot Rod will be King of the V-Rods!

Zippers Oil Pan Spacer kit lowers the oil to keep the crank from being slowed by the oil in the pan. CNC-machined from 6061 aluminum billet, includes oil pick-up spacer, gasket and mounting hardware. Lowers oil pan one inch.

New for the V-Rod! This big bore kit increases the bore size from 3.938 inch to 4.250 inch for 188cc of extra muscle. Includes forged Wiseco pistons, wrist pins, clips and rings, sized wet cast iron liners, special big bore head gaskets and o-rings. Requires precision boring of the engine cases and water jackets. Zippers can provide this service through Machine Shop Services.

A radial gas ported piston is also available for race use only which will increase compression to over 13:1, depending on combustion chamber volume.

To make more power, you must pass more air! Zippers offers a machining service that increases the V-Rods throttle body passages from 53mm to 58mm. This modification provides excellent results in stock or modified engines! Carefully remove the throttle body and send it to Zippers for modification.

Valves, springs and gaskets, to go along with our Stage I or Stage II headwork have been carefully designed and manufactured to exacting tolerances to ensure ease of installation and increased performance for your engine.

Stage II headwork includes oversize valves, springs, port work, all set up for .500 inch Race Cams.
